New York, NY (February 24, 2020) -- The Women Presidents’ Organization, the global membership organization that helps women entrepreneurs bring their successful businesses to the next level, has announced a new partnership with the Instituto de Empresa, S.L. (IE) in Madrid. The program is designed to help accelerate the professional development of global business leaders through incremental business education. WPO members will have access to scholarships to pursue a variety of postgraduate and master’s degrees -- in Finance, STEM and Advanced Global Management. As part of the collaboration, IE will be a WPO sponsor by offering its campus to the recently opened WPO Madrid Chapter for monthly meetings.
IE offers a technology-based learning ecosystem for leaders to make a difference in the world through innovation, global vision, an entrepreneurial mindset and a unique focus on the humanities. IE is dedicated to the advancement of women through education and leadership development in order to be decision makers and agents of social change in all areas of society.
“It is a pleasure to start working with such an international and diverse community, who also shares IE’s spirit of entrepreneurship. Thanks to the agreement with Women Presidents’ Organization, members of WPO would have access to partial scholarship in IE portfolio-including Executive Education programs, as well as Part-time MBA and Part-time Masters programs, said Gonzalo Garland, president of IE Foundation
“What excites me about this partnership is the opportunity to provide WPO international members with an exceptional resource for business education from one of the top business schools in Europe. IE has been extremely supportive of the WPO and was one of the sponsors of our first international summit held in Portugal. We look forward to expanding our global relationship,” said WPO Chief Executive Officer Camille Burns.
IE shapes leaders who drive innovation and change in organizations, providing a learning environment where technologies and diversity play a key role in fostering a global vision, an entrepreneurial mindset and a humanistic approach.
