Dominique “Nika” Cagle’s career as an entrepreneur began in her early twenties - by starting her Corporate Housing Company “Nika Corporate Housing.” The company was founded in 2003 as a start-up with just one furnished suite. Since then, Nika has successfully grown her temporary lodging company to a regional leader in the Corporate Housing industry and has an inventory of over 300 units. In addition, through her leadership, the company has enjoyed sustained growth, and has been profitable each year. Nika Corporate Housing has been nominated as a semi finalist for the small business of the year in the City of Tampa.
Nika Corporate Housing is the premier Corporate Housing company in Florida, and a leader in the Southeast regional market. We provide “turnkey” short term, fully furnished units that are ready for move in, with all furniture, appliances, utilities, linens, and housewares included. We offer one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom options to fit our guests’ needs. We utilize condo’s, town homes, and apartments, so our suites are spacious with full size kitchens - and all units also are equipped with washers and dryers ensuite. Parking, Wi-Fi and utilities are also included. Our units are located in premier locations that help our guests feel like they are “living like a local” during their stay.
Dominique "Nika" Cagle is the majority share Owner/ President of Nika Corporate Housing. We are a certified Woman Owned Business with the City of Tampa and are a member of the professional organizations “Corporate Housing Providers Association” (CHPA) and “Employee Relocation Council” (ERC), the Women’s President’s Organization (WPO), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC).
Nika provides daily leadership and guidance to her team of 20 employees. Nika started the business almost 16+ years ago from the ground up and has had steady growth every year. Nika enjoys the sales process and will frequently sit in on meetings and conferences with larger accounts for oversight and added passion to the process and assurance to the guest. Nika’s philosophy is “Exceed our guests’ expectations everyday”.
Currently, Nika is also the co-owner of Casa Genesis which is a cloud based SAAS management suite for corporate housing companies to manage all aspects of their operations.
Dominique is a Professional athlete the author of "Bounce Back After Baby”, an e-book on the Amazon platform.
Dominique attended the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management or OPM program in unit #53 starting in May of 2017. She also attended the University of Oklahoma for her undergraduate program and graduated with honors in 2000 and was awarded an interdisciplinary degree of Letters which consists of Philosophy, History, and English; with an emphasis in Classical Cultures. She was also awarded a Minor in Spanish. She attained this 4 year degree program in 3 years. She also attended the Dartmouth Tuck Business School WEBENC Executive Growth Program - Sponsored by IBM in September 2018. She also attended the Dartmouth Tuck Business School/ WBENC IBM Program Strategic Growth 2019. She also attended the Stanford Business School continuing education for Leadership Skills for Women in the Workplace. She is also in the International Business Law Masters Program with the University of Oklahoma.
Dominique is a happily married for 15 years to Scott Cagle, a retired US Air Force B-2A Stealth Bomber Test Pilot and decorated combat veteran, and she is the mother of Daxton (11), Levi (8), and Mia (6). She also is a stepmom to Elizabeth, and Jessica.
Dominique is a dog lover and has 2 Australian Shepherds. In her free time Dominique enjoys Scuba Diving, Traveling, Tennis, Wine, Spinning, and Ju Jitsu classes. Dominique has a passion for fitness. She has been featured in several fitness magazines articles, covers, and calendars as an inspirational role model for a fit and balanced life.
Dominique enjoys volunteering with the local “Ronald MacDonald House” and also supports the international children’s charity “Children International” where she has sponsored 7 disadvantaged children from 6 different impoverished countries for almost a decade. She also supports Wounded Warrior’s Association, the Blinded Veteran’s Association, The Spring.
