- Red Carrot, a Hispanic woman-owned small business based in Miami, was recognized as the On the Rise Government Contractor of the Year. Over 80% of Red Carrot’s revenue is currently generated through government contracts from clients including the Army National Guard and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Red Carrot has experienced tremendous growth through government contracting over the past year, with 2016 revenue jumping 267% from 2015.
- DMS International, a woman- and minority-owned professional services firm located in Silver Spring, MD, was awarded the 2016 Woman Contractor of the Year for success in the federal marketplace. The company was founded in 1994 and today generates 90% of its revenue through working with government agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration and the U.S. Navy.
