Edie Fraser

Edie Fraser is the founder of the Business Women's Network (BWN), an i-Village company. The vision behind the BWN program, Edie also serves as the president of the Public Affairs Group Inc., which also operates Best Practices in Corporate Communications and Diversity Best Practices. In that capacity, Edie works with more than 100 Fortune 500 companies.

A nationally recognized speaker and author, Edie has delivered more than 300 major addresses. Her publications include Risk to Riches: Women and Entrepreneurship in America, and Diversity WOW! Facts; as well as the BWN directory of more than 6,000 organizations and resources.

Edie is a founding member of the Committee of 200, and is a board member of the Women's Business Center of Washington, and Count-Me-In. She is also past president of the Washington Chapter of the National Association for Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Her organization produces major events throughout the year to bring together corporate diversity leaders and women entrepreneurs from throughout the world.

What Edie does best is networking and her outreach extends around the world. She never hesitates to pick up the phone and do whatever she can to bring a project to fruition. She has a golden rolodex and she works tirelessly day in and day out to help make the connections that have helped corporate women executives build their careers and women entrepreneurs achieve success and build their businesses.
