As a learning and development professional, Young is a highly-sought trainer/certified facilitator and strategic business leadership coach and she has held various executive and technical positions. Young is a member of the Project Management Institute, Association for Talent Development (formerly American Society of Training and Development), served on the Advisory Board of the Pharmaceutical Training Institute, served as Board Secretary on the Maryland State Board of Counselors and Professional Therapist and as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland. She is a previous recipient of the Enterprising Women of the Year Award.
